What affects the worth of a relic?
A relic's rarity is the biggest factor in the price of a relic, along with condition. Keep in mind that Civil War relics have survived the rigors of time and you shouldn't expect perfect examples in every case. Another factor in price is affiliation with a particular area where the artifact was recovered. Also, affiliation with a particular soldier will command premium prices. Last, Confederate items have always been more rare since they produced less for their armies.

What if I change my mind after receiving an order?
I give full refund minus shipping costs. It doesn't matter what the reason is for the return as long as its in the same condition as sent. I give the customer a 60 day time limit for the return.

What if I have questions about a particular item?
Send an email and I will answer as soon as possible. If you would like to talk to me personally, leave a phone message and the hours when you can be reached. Time differences can vary widely, especially if you live in California, Montana, etc.

Can you identify a item for me?
I will try my best to identify your items. A photo sent to me will be the only way to do it along with a detailed description. Not actually inspecting an item in person prevents me from giving it a value. I have seen some doctored items that can only be discovered by personal inspection. There are also experts in every category of Civil War relics. The real experts of relics are our Civil War ancestors who have passed away long ago. I will try to refer you to someone who can give you answer if I cannot do so.
