US 10 inch Columbiad Mortar Shell, weighs 98 pounds. This massive shell is in excellent condition. There is some pitting but overall smooth condition. Exploded Hotchkiss 10 Pounder Case Shot Shell

Exploded U.S. 10 lb. Hotchkiss shell with nose and base section. A part of the lead sabot is missing but a small part was found nearby. The nose section is filled with lead case shot and can be heard by shaking the nose. Deactivated by drilling through the fuse. Cleaned and treated for rust except the lead sabot part. Dug by early relic hunter Henry Higgins on the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield (private property), Georgia. Exploded U.S. Hotchkiss shell - three sections dug together on the Latimore Farm Battlefield (private property), Georgia by Henry Higgins in the early 1960's. The nose with brass fuse, mid section and cup are all together. Relic cleaned and treated for rust. Price $150.00

Federal Hotchkiss 3.73 inch Shell
Hotchkiss 3.73 shell recovered from the Vicksburg Battlefield.  Fuse had blown out, missing lead sabot but still a rare size Hotchkiss Shell. Relic has not been cleaned or treated but iron is stable. Price $295.00

Federal Hotchkiss 3.5 inch bolt. This is the later design which has a hollow base. Dug Vicksburg (private property), Mississippi. Missing base cup and sabot. Price $250.00
