Dug iron U.S. Springfield trigger guard struck by either bullet or shrapnel causing damage. The trigger had sheared off and broke the guard broke off to side. Iron is in very good shape because it was dug in the early 1960's by Claude Hightower on the Ezra Church Battlefield, Atlanta, Georgia.This location was one of the bloody battles for Atlanta.
