Confederate North Carolina coat button with silver gilt on face. Blank back with shank that broke. Button dug this year in Carolina County, Virginia on January 23, 2008. Price $200.00

Nice gilted Virginia State seal coat button. Mitchell & Tyler/Richmond back mark. Shank had broken off which was why it was lost by a Confederate soldier. Slight push on the face around the feet of the Tyranny. Albert's button book listing, VA7A. Dug on the Chancellorsville Battlefield (private property), Virginia by Donald Hayden in the early 1970's.
